Animal Coalition fundraiser planned

Tribune staff report

The Animal Coalition of Tahoe will hold a fundraiser at Tahoe Bowl to keep the important spay-neuter program going.

An evening of bowling, dinner and drinks will take place from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday. A portion of the proceeds will benefit ACT’s spay-neuter program and the El Dorado County Animal Shelter. There is a $5 entrance fee. Raffle tickets for several great prizes will be sold for $1 each.

Tahoe Bowl offers a fun selection of dinner items, including a pizza special, and the full bar features drink specials for this event.

Then of course there’s the bowling: $4 for each game and $4 for shoe rentals. Come alone or with friends. Get together a team of four people to compete for prizes for best team score, and even for the worst team score. Teams must sign up in advance; call 530-400-4766 or email ACT for more details.

The Animal Coalition of Tahoe is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that raises funds to help local residents spay and neuter their dogs and cats to reduce the population of unwanted pets. Plus the organization donates 10 percent of all funds raised to the animal shelter in Meyers. Call 530-307-3638 or email info@tahoeanimals.org for more information.

When was the last time you went bowling? The lanes look fantastic, the beer is cold, and the pizza tastes great. Come and play, or just have dinner and help support the Animal Coalition of Tahoe and a great local-owned business all in one evening.
