Animal Services looking for dog that bit man
El Dorado County Animal Services is looking for a Husky-type dog that bit a South Lake Tahoe man Sunday, March 16.
The bite occurred at about 6 p.m. near Tahoe Keys Boulevard and Washington Avenue when the man encountered the dog roaming in the neighborhood and tried to read its tags.
The man was treated and released. The dog is described as medium-sized with gray and white fluffy fur and a blue collar and tags.
Animal Services wants to speak to the dog’s owner to verify it is current on its rabies vaccinations so the man does not have to undergo post-exposure rabies treatments.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Animal Services at 530-573-7925.
