Anita McCullough

Anita M. McCullough passed away at her home in Palm Desert, Calif., on Sept. 22, 2006.

She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

There will be a celebration of her life in Palm Desert at a later date.



Anita’s ashes were buried in the family plot with her parents Dr. and Mrs. McCullough in Illinois.

Anita’s early years were spent working at Pan American Airlines where she gained a passion for world travel. After retirement, she moved from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe in 1974, living there for many years.



Later on she would spend part of the winter months in Palm Desert, and eventually moved there.

Anita made friends easily and people loved to hear stories of her travels around the world to unique and remote places.

She enjoyed bridge, golf, theater and the arts.

Anita is survived by a nephew, two nieces and many friends.
