The Women’s Fund El Dorado will host its Annual Community Needs Forum on Thursday in Placerville.

Youth development, health and mental health issues and senior support services are topics that were suggested at last year’s forum and will be discussed this year.

This year’s presenters are Jeremy Meyers, deputy superintendent of Educational Services and Instructional Technology at the El Dorado County Office of Education; Patricia Charles-Heathers, Health and Human Services Agency program manager II from El Dorado County Mental Health and an adjunct professor in the department of counseling at California State University; and Karen Shelnutt, nurse case manager for Family Connections and faith community nurse for Federated Church.

The forum costs $20 and includes a light dinner. It will take place from 6-8 p.m. at Cold Springs County Club, 6500 Clubhouse Drive in Placerville. For more information or to make a reservation, call 530-622-5621.
