If you are called to be a general in an army, how long does it take to reach that position?

This was a question that Jim McGee pondered in the 20 years that have passed since God spoke this to him as a young man in rural Missouri. As he grew in God through thousands of hours of study, service work, and many spiritual challenges, he could see why the journey could not occur suddenly – in God’s army or any other army.

Four years ago McGee stared One Accord Ministries, with the goal of promoting God’s Ten Commandments worldwide. With the God-commissioned pictorial given to his wife more than 25 years ago, a Web site is online, a basic teaching guide is complete, and the book is in progress. It has come time for the children of God to have access to the project, to see for themselves that the Ten Commandments are for today.

The Commandments are not a restriction, nor are they a punishment. They are a tool that will open the door for all of God’s blessings to be had by His children.

Are you wondering how best to serve God? Do you love Him, want to please Him so that you may receive His blessings? Begin your journey. It is a process of spiritual growth that never ends. Start at the beginning. Give your spiritual house the foundation it needs to stand strong during your life. Join with God to be all that you can be. Through Him, with Him, and for Him.
