Another wreck on Kingsbury

Four people suffered minor injuries in a wreck Monday on Kingsbury Grade.

A white 1998 Jeep driven by Julene Long, 32, was headed eastbound at 11:45 a.m. when it crossed into the oncoming lane just west of Katherine Court. Long collided with a green 1999 Toyota four-door driven by 25-year-old Ramundo Murillo, the Nevada Highway Patrol reported.

“There was heavy damage to both vehicles,” said Tahoe-Douglas Fire Assistant Chief Bruce Van Cleemput. “Four were transported (to the hospital) with minor to moderate injuries. We extricated two people out of one vehicle. The vehicle that was on its roof, surprisingly, the person was able to get out.”

By Monday night, all four people transported to Barton Memorial Hospital had been treated and released.
