Anytime Fitness announces The Fitness Laboratory program

Anytime Fitness of Zephyr Cove invites local men and women, who are not currently engaged in regular exercise, to take part in The Fitness Laboratory program.

The Fitness Laboratory seeks to identify the results a non-exerciser may expect when committing to three weeks of moderate exercise. As part of the program, the level of exercise is customized for each individual by a certified personal trainer during two, 30-minute sessions.

To qualify as a volunteer, participants must agree to complete three, 30-minute exercise sessions each week for three weeks. They will also be asked to complete brief fitness profiles at the beginning and end of the program.

There is no cost for The Fitness Laboratory, but a fully refundable deposit of $20 is required for a club access key for 24-hour access. During the program, participants will have full membership privileges at Anytime Fitness of Zephyr Cove, NV.

The personal information and results for each volunteer are kept completely confidential. The group results, however, will be compiled to analyze health and fitness trends on a national level.

“Our goal with The Fitness Laboratory is to reach out to those who do not have experience with regular exercise and its many benefits,” said Karen Reaney, club owner. “We really love to see how a person – in just three weeks – can lower their resting heart rate or improve their flexibility.”

For more information on The Fitness Laboratory, you may contact Anytime Fitness at 775-580-7266. Interested volunteers are encouraged to contact the club soon, as the program is restricted to a certain number of participants.
