National Public Health Week will be recognized Monday through April 8.

The theme for the week is “A Healthier America Begins Today – Join the Movement,” according to a press release from El Dorado County Health & Human Services Agency’s Public Health Division. The campaign focuses on a different health topic each day and offers ways for individuals to join the effort to create a healthy community.
