Wine, art and food will all be part of a weekend of events May 20-21 at South Lake Tahoe’s Beach Retreat & Lodge Tahoe.
Tahoe’s Got Taste will kick off Friday, May 20, with an art show and wine tasting at the retreat’s conference center.
“Enjoy sculptures, live art, canvas creations and electronic art,” according to a description of the event. “Featured artists include Claudia Garza, Ellen Nunes, Bonita Paulis, Ginny Schankerman, Amy Hackleman, Kelley Hackleman, Matthew ‘Timeless’ Welter, Bruce Lee and Hib Engler.”
Ten percent of art sales from the evening will be donated to the Lake Tahoe Community College Foundation.
A variety of Crystal Basin Winery wines will also be offered Friday, and bottles will be available for purchase.
On Saturday the retreat’s chef, Garrett Florea, will create a pairing dinner, also featuring wines from the Camino, California, winery.
Friday’s event runs from 6-9 p.m., and tickets are $15 per person.
Saturday’s dinner runs from 6:30-9 p.m., and tickets are $50 per person. There is limited availability for Saturday’s event.
