Art workshop is for all ages

Provided to the Tribune

Be creative, experiment, play. Join artist, designer and art educator Carol Foldvary-Anderson from 10:30 a.m. to noon each Wednesday during August for Art for All Ages. The workshop meets on the patio of the Valhalla Boathouse Theater at the Tallac Historic Site. A $2 donation to the Tahoe Tallac Association will be appreciated.

Each Wednesday morning participants may enjoy a variety of art projects especially designed to get creative juices flowing. Everyone will work and play with watercolors, pastels, Sharpie markers and more. People of all ages are invited to paint sunsets, make wind catchers, miniature cards and books, plus anything else fun they are inspired to create. Participants will have an opportunity to create great memories of Lake Tahoe and bring home their own handmade souvenir of their Lake Tahoe experience.

Foldvary-Anderson’s philosophy is that art is for everyone. We are never too old to be creative and imaginative and bring beauty into the world. She has worked with the art workshop program for five years and found when the adults jump in to the art projects they are showing sending a wonderful message to our children that art is for all ages.
