Artisan spinning yarn at Valhalla festival

Provided to the Tribune One of Joel Warner's yarn creations closely resembles bacon and eggs.

Joel Warner will be spinning yarn from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 4-6 at the Tallac Historic Site as part of the Valhalla Summer Arts and Music Festival.

In addition to the daily demonstrations, there will be handspun yarn and spinning accessories for sale, and visitors are welcome to stop by and watch the process.
