Assemblyman to be honored by Tahoe utility

Assemblyman Tim Leslie, R-Tahoe City, will be honored today by the South Tahoe Public Utility District at a special board of directors meeting in South Lake Tahoe.

Following the meeting, Leslie will tour the district’s award-winning advanced wastewater treatment plant.

Leslie has represented the district in the state Senate and Assembly since 1986 and has successfully sponsored numerous pieces of legislation to address water district-specific issues.

The meeting will be at 11 a.m. at the South Lake Tahoe council chambers located at 1900 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
