On Saturday, May 18, 4-5:30 p.m., at South Tahoe Middle School Multi-Purpose Room, Barney Sarlzberg will present a delightful program about being an author and illustrator. Through music, drawing, and slides, Barney will demonstrate how a book/story is created. It will be just plain fun and leave you with the message “Your dreams can come alive.”

He is a nominee for 2003 CYRM award for “Soccer Mom From Outer Space.” The Lake Tahoe Reading Council, sponsors of Barney’s visit to the South Shore, will include a book sale and book signing also on Saturday at STMS.

Tickers are $5/adult, $2/child and are on sale at the door. You may, also contact Linda Wysong, (530) 544-0794 for tickets in advance. Lake Tahoe Reading Council representatives have tickets at each elementary school site.
