INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. – Local law enforcement is investigating a burglary that reportedly took place Friday morning at the 7-Eleven convenience store at the corner of Village and Tahoe boulevards.

According to a Friday afternoon press release from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, an unidentified masked subject entered the store at about 6:50 a.m., stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

The subject did not use any force and did not present a weapon during the incident, said WCSO Deputy Armando Avina, which is why it is classified as burglary, not robbery.

Patrol units, detectives and K9 units are surveying the surrounding areas, attempting to locate the suspect, described as an unknown race/age male, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches to 6 feet tall, last seen wearing a costume mask, dark jacket, dark hooded shirt and light colored pants.

Anyone with information is urged to contact WCSO at 775-328-3320 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.
