Baer, Erickson wed at Fallen Leaf Lake

Kathryn Baer and Eric Erickson exchanged wedding vows June 24 in St. Francis Chapel at Fallen Leaf Lake. The 2:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Charles Cornell of Trinity Episcopal Church in Folsom, Calif.

The bride is the daughter of Bob and Justin Baer of South Lake Tahoe, and the bridegroom’s parents are Lou Anne and Dennis Rogers of Eugene, Ore., and Neil and Pam Erickson of Portland, Ore.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white, beaded floor-length gown and wore a simple net veil.

Maid of honor was Jen Harsch of Sherwood, Ore., who wore a dressy skirt and blouse. Best man was the bridegroom’s brother, Gus Erickson of Portland.

Immediately following the wedding ceremony a reception was hosted by the bride’s parents in the family cabin at Fallen Leaf Lake.

Upon their return from a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the newlyweds established their home in Portland.

The bride graduated from South Tahoe High School in 1999 and received a degree in international affairs in 2003 from Lewis & Clark College in Portland.

The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of the Art Institute of Portland, where he majored in media arts and animation.
