Barton Auxiliary holds membership luncheon

The Barton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary monthly membership luncheon will take place Oct. 8 at Harveys Resort & Casino Garden Buffet. Social time begins at 11 a.m., meeting at 11:30 a.m. and lunch is at noon. The cost is $12.50 per person. The public is invited.

Featured speaker will be Bonnie Betts, who will explain the ancient Chinese system of Feng Shui. It is the art of reading and balancing the energies within the home or office. This can be done by re-arranging the furniture or adding some color. Another way to bring harmony to the home or family is by adding plants or accessories made of metal.

For reservations call Dee Hart at (530) 544-3930 or Nancy McDermid at (775) 265-0357 by noon Oct. 5. Anyone who makes a reservation and doesn’t attend must call to cancel in advance or will be required to pay for the lunch.
