Barton Health announces 2013-14 board of directors
Barton Health has added two new board members, Mike Bradford and Keith Swanson, M.D., and new chairman, Kirk Ledbetter, to its board of directors.
Bradford, CEO of Lakeside Inn, and Swanson, a long-time South Lake Tahoe physician, Dr. Keith Swanson, were voted for by members of the Barton Memorial Hospital Association and welcomed to the board May 23. Swanson is part of the medical staff at Barton Memorial Hospital, practices at Tahoe Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, and is a founding member and Director of the Lake Tahoe Sports Medicine Fellowship Program.
Kirk Ledbetter, who has served on the board for more than five years, was elected as the new chairman. He is also a grandson to William Bill Barton, the hospital’s namesake.
In addition to Ledbetter, the board of directors includes vice chairman Chuck Scharer and secretary/treasurer John Cefalu. Members also include Dr. Greg Bergner, Dr. Paul J. Fry II, Rhonda McFarlane, Drs. Terry Orr and Paul Rork and Dena Schwarte. Board members will serve through 2016.
