Barton HealthCare purchases surgery center in Round Hill
Barton HealthCare System and Lake Tahoe Surgery Center will be partners as of Feb. 19.
The surgery center is based in Round Hill and offers services for outpatients, which expands Barton’s health services to the community across the state line.
The managing general partner of the center, National Surgical Co., sold its 67 percent share to Barton. The amount of the transaction was undisclosed.
The center is open Monday through Friday, with surgeries scheduled for injuries and medical conditions that do not require hospitalization.
The staff at the center will remain the same.
