Barton Health hires 2 new executives

Barton Health recently added two new members to its executive team.

Following two national searches, Barton decided to make two internal hires: Kelly Neiger to serve as its new chief financial officer and Dr. Matthew Wonnacott as its new chief medical officer.

Neiger has been a Barton team member for over 13 years, serving as controller and administrative director of finance and revenue cycles, according to Barton. Neiger holds a master’s of business administration and certified public accountant license in California and Nevada. She was born at Barton Memorial Hospital, as were her two youngest of three daughters.

Neiger and her husband Mike, a physical therapist at Barton Rehabilitation’s Stateline office, are active volunteers with South Tahoe High School basketball and enjoy taking their family hiking, boating and camping.

Wonnacott joined Barton in 2017 as the medical director at Barton Community Health Clinic. With more than 20 years in the medical field, including his position as former chief of medical staff and chief operations officer at Travis Air Force Base’s David Grant Medical Center, Wonnacott brings experience and compassion to his practice, according to Barton.

He enjoys an active Tahoe lifestyle and spending time with his wife, Holly, and seven children ranging in ages 10 through 27 years old.
