Barton Pediatrics moves office

Molly Hucklebridge
Special to the Tribune

Barton Pediatrics is relocating to South Lake Tahoe, effective July 1. Formerly at the Stateline Medical Center, the medical office will be at 2201 South Ave. in South Lake Tahoe.

Infants, children and teens can be seen by board-certified pediatricians Dr. Jennifer Ehmann, Dr. Kawika Liu, and Dr. Tracy Protell. Barton’s pediatricians will see new and current patients five days a week, Monday through Friday. Patients who have private insurance, Medi-Cal, or who self-pay will be seen.

The new location is closer to Barton’s health campus. This walkable area includes Barton Memorial Hospital, Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, Barton Community Health Center, and Barton Family Medicine.

Barton Family Medicine, located at 1090 Third St., will continue to provide comprehensive services for the entire family from infants to adults. Dr. Allison Steinmetz, a board-certified pediatrician and internist; Dr. Nichole DeLaPlante, board-certified in family medicine; and Kelly Vial, FNP are available to see patients at 1090 Third St. in South Lake Tahoe.

Call Barton Pediatrics at (530) 543-5550 or Barton Family Medicine at (530) 543-5660 to schedule an appointment. Both physician offices are accepting new patients.
