Barton to move outpatient lab

Submitted to the Tribune

Barton’s Health’s Outpatient Laboratory Services on South Avenue will move to 1067 Fourth St. this month.

The new location is the former Tahoe Women’s Care building, this new location will create an inviting, improved experience for our community and their laboratory needs.

The move will begin Feb. 20 and could take up to two days. During the move, laboratory draws will be available for the public at Barton Memorial Hospital, 2170 South Ave. in South Lake Tahoe, and at Stateline Medical Center, 155 Highway 50 in Stateline, Nev.

In the spring, the laboratory’s former location will become Barton’s new urology program.

The Barton Health Laboratory performs a variety of testing in the areas of hematology, blood bank, chemistry, microbiology and coagulation. There are three locations for blood draws. Barton Laboratory also participates in the BWell program, offering affordable lab testing for adults in our community. For more information about wellness lab draws, visit http://www.bartonhealth.org/bwell or call 530-543-5615. Doctor referrals are required for all wellness labs and screenings.
