Beer photographed with stolen camera

A camera stolen inside HQ bar at Montbleu was recovered and found to contain an image of man unknown to the camera’s owner holding a beer, according to a report from a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy.

The camera and $400 personal digital assistant were reportedly stolen inside the bar Nov. 27.

Montbleu security contacted the owner, telling him that his camera had been recovered from the bottom of the stairs in the hallway. The owner checked the camera and noticed someone had taken a picture of a man holding a beer.

It was not clear if the man in the image was the person who had stolen the camera and PDA. The photograph was downloaded and booked as evidence.
