Bereavement camp applications open

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Camp Sunrise, a free grief camp designed for children age 7-14 that have

experienced the death of a family member is accepting applications for its 2011 session.

The session will be held from June 17-19 at the Galilee Camp & Conference Center. The camp begins in the late afternoon June 17 and ends midday on June 19.

To receive a registration form or volunteer application for this year’s camp, call the Barton Foundation office at 530-543-5614, pick up the form at the Foundation office at 2092 Lake Tahoe Blvd., Suite. 600, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 or go online at http://www.bartonhealth

.org/events.

Camper participation applications must be completed and returned to the Foundation by May 20.

Entry to the camp is subject to an interview with a camp counselor.

Interviews will be scheduled after receipt of a completed registration form. Residents of the South Lake Tahoe, Minden, Gardnerville and Carson Valley/City areas may apply.
