Bereavement group meets

Trubune

The South Lake Tahoe chapter of the Widowed Persons Association of California still has several activities for the month of February. All widowed people are welcome.

Activities for the month include a Mystery Dinner on Feb. 14 and a Chinese Night on Feb. 28. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are also available as a group for those interested.

The grief support group meets at 2 p.m. every Monday at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd. Membership in the association is not a requirement for participation in the support group. Next meeting will be Feb. 25 and there will be no meeting Feb. 18 because of President’s Day. There will be a general meeting and dinner on Feb. 24.

For information on membership, a calendar of activities and further details about the above events call (530) 542-4912.
