Best Management Practice workshop on Saturday at Women’s Center

The Sierra Nevada Alliance and the Nevada Tahoe Conservation District invites volunteers to help construct best management practices (BMPs) at the South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center on Saturday, Sept. 22 , beginning at 9 a.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Participants will learn by doing as they install BMPs on the site, guided by Conservation District employees who inspect and install BMPs daily. Many residents struggle with how to construct their BMPs. This workday will help solve those struggles by providing hands-on experience, money saving techniques, and access to an expert.

The South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center is located 2941 Lake Tahoe Blvd, South Lake Tahoe, CA, just minutes north from Lake Tahoe Blvd.’s intersection with Al Tahoe.

There are limited spots for the workshop and all volunteers are encouraged to sign up now.

Email genevieve@sierranevadaalliance.org to sign up! Or call (530) 542-4546.
