Tahoe Douglas Rotary has opened bidding on items in its silent auction as part of its 45th annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

The auction is open to people not attending the March 15 celebration, which will include a traditional Irish buffet, wine tasting and entertainment. All silent auction items are posted at Bidders can bid on items through March 10. All proceeds raised during the auction and event will benefit the community through grants, scholarships, donations and work projects.

The St. Patrick’s Day celebration will be held March 15 from 6-10 p.m. at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. Tickets to the event cost $60 and can be purchased at,, calling 800-576-8372 or by contacting a club member.
