BOISE, Idaho – Despite a game-high 34-point effort from guard Russell Robinson, the Reno Bighorns were defeated 118-110 by the Dakota Wizards Monday night in double overtime at the 2010 NBA D-League Showcase in Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho.

Dave Noel’s put-back as time expired forced a 97-97 tie to push the game into overtime. A pair of Mo Charlo free throws forced a second overtime period, but the Wizards outscored Reno 12-4 in the final frame to pick up the victory.

Robinson led four Bighorns in double figures, as Desmon Farmer chipped-in 17, Rod Benson finished with 15 and Charlo added 14 for Reno. Farmer and Benson each fouled out before the final horn sounded.

Maurice Baker led the Wizards with 29 points and 12 rebounds. Curtis Withers also recorded a double-double, finishing with 21 points and 12 boards.

The Bighorns will conclude their stay at the 2010 NBA D-League Showcase on Wednesday morning. Reno will meet Erie at 10 a.m. PST from Qwest Arena. The action will be televised live on NBA TV.

After four straight on the road, the Bighorns will return home on Jan. 12 to tangle with the Utah Flash.
