Blintzes, pancakes … and smaller classes

Provided to the Tahoe Daily Tribune. Dan and Tai Passaretti are ready to welcome everyone to the monthly fundraiser breakfast to benefit class size reduction in the public schools.

The monthly fundraiser buffet breakfast at Passaretti’s Restaurant to benefit the Lake Tahoe Educational Foundation’s effort to achieve class- size reduction in local public schools is scheduled from 8 to 11:45 a.m. on March 19.

Dan and Tai Passaretti offer a special breakfast and they donate half of all sales to the foundation.

This Sunday will be a double-header. First, a breakfast buffet will include scrambled eggs, veggie scramble, corned beef hash, bacon, sausage, apple sausage, hash browns, French toast, fruit assortment, and pastries. Secondly, your breakfast also includes your kitchen order of cheese blintzes with hot apple or blueberry topping or pancakes served from the kitchen. Orange juice and coffee are included.

The cost is $13 per adult and $6.50 per child. Passaretti’s is on Emerald Bay Road at C Street.
