Blood drive comes to library

The South Lake Tahoe Community Blood Drive will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Lake Tahoe Branch Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd. Donors will receive a 30-minute phone card.

Blood donors must be in generally good health, at least 17 years of age or 16 with parental consent, and weigh at least 110 pounds. There is no upper age limit for donating. Allow 45 minutes donation time and eat and drink before donating. All donors must bring a photo ID.
