Blood drive Friday honors resident

A blood drive honoring Ron Goodhue will be performed Friday at the Emerald Bay Center for Women’s Health.

Goodhue is a longtime South Shore resident who is battling leukemia.

The United Blood Service will be drawing blood from its mobile blood bank from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please call (530) 542-4961 to make a reservation to donate blood.

The center is at 1154 Emerald Bay Road, just west of the “Y.”
