6:56 p.m., 1200 Monument Drive, South Lake Tahoe – burglary. Police arrested Erik Risner, 21, after he allegedly took two guns from his father’s home and sold them. Police said Risner used a ladder to enter one of the house’s second story windows. Risner reportedly told police the guns were his. The father first contacted police because he said his son stole and used some of his checks. Investigators found Risner, who had moved out of his father’s house a week-and-a-half earlier, at My Brothers Place, a bar and restaurant at the 800 block of Emerald Bay Road. Police said they discovered a small amount of marijuana on his person when they arrested him. He had five warrants out which were related to a DUI, driving with a suspended license and failure to appear in court, police said.
