Sunday Dec. 16

2:50 p.m., Harvey’s Resort Casino, Stateline — auto burglary. Fernando Garza, 26, parked his 1992 Ford Explorer at 5:45 a.m., in the upper parking lot and left for his front desk job. When he returned at 2:30 p.m., he found his rear driver side window broken and stereo equipment stolen, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department said. An amplifier, compact disc changer and two box speakers were stolen, deputies said.



Monday Dec. 17

12:30 p.m., 295 Highway 50, Stateline –Egrand theft. Tim Buscher reported that his green 1997 Mitsubishi Montero was stolen Nov. 29, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department said. The unlocked sport utility vehicle was stolen from the Lake Village Professional Building.
