The following incidents were selected from among those reported to area law enforcement and fire protection districts.

Friday Feb. 22

5:15 p.m., Heavenly Ski Resort, South Lake Tahoe — grand theft. Maneesh Ailawadi, 30, from Chicago, Ill., left his seat at the California Bar. While he was gone, his green $400 Timberland Gortex ski jacket was stolen, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department reported. Credit cards, a Nokia cell phone and ski goggles were in the jacket, deputies reported.

Sunday Feb. 24

12:07 p.m., 4045 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe — grand theft. Two snowboards were stolen from a rental pickup truck while the owners, Andrew Medling and Jason Ramsden, both from England, were inside the Powder House, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department reported. The snowboards, a Salomon and an “A” snowboard, are worth a total of $950, police reported.
