The following incidents were selected from among those reported to area law enforcement and fire protection districts.

Sunday Dec. 16

7:33 a.m., 700 block of Tahoe Island Drive, South Lake Tahoe — burglary. Five snowboards, worth about $2,425 total, were stolen from a car rack, South Lake Tahoe police said. There were small pry marks on the rack, police said.

7:22 p.m., Blue Lake Avenue and Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe — indecent exposure. People didn’t have a problem with the gold full-sized van. But they did have a problem with a man inside the van showing his buttocks to a gas station employee and a female cab driver, South Lake Tahoe police said.

Monday Dec. 17

10:01 a.m., 2870 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe — grand theft. Four snowboards, worth about $1,200 total, were stolen from a car rack, South Lake Tahoe police said. The theft, which occurred at Lakeland Village, showed no signs of force, police said.
