The following incidents were selected from among those reported to area law enforcement and fire protection districts.

Tuesday April 30

3:18 p.m., Lake Tahoe and Emerald Bay Boulevard — vandalism. Diane Sandlin, 37, had her driver’s side window broken by the fist of Charles Sandlin, 52, while she was stopped at an intersection, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department reported. Charles Sandlin was later arrested for vandalism, police reported.

Wednesday May 1

2:08 a.m., 4000 block of Manzanita Avenue, South Lake Tahoe — grand theft. Annabelle Dacalos left her car unlocked which allowed an unknown thief to steal her Pioneer compact disc player and numerous compact discs totaling $675 in losses, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department reported.
