The following incidents were selected from among those reported to area law enforcement and fire protection districts.

Friday May 17

10:40 a.m., Lake Tahoe Boulevard and Fairway, South Lake Tahoe — spousal abuse. After a verbal argument, John Adams, of South Lake Tahoe, pushed the victim. As a result, she fell against a table and sofa, fracturing her right humorous bone and injuring her rib area. She was taken to the orthopedic ward of the hospital. The suspect was spotted by an officer and arrested after denying charges. He was booked at the El Dorado County jail on felony charges.



Saturday May 18

5:30 p.m., 1104 Lindberg Ave., South Lake Tahoe — forgery. Jennifer Haas, of South Lake Tahoe, discovered a large number of unauthorized purchases on her debit card. The suspect accessed her account number and charged well over $1,000 to her account. No one is in custody and the case is still under investigation, authorities reported.



Sunday May 19

11 a.m., Camp Richardson Resort and Marina, South Lake Tahoe — stolen boat. An 18-foot inflatable 1996 Nautica boat was stolen while it was tied to a dock, the El Dorado Sheriff’s Department reported. With the 70 horsepower Evinrude outboard, the boat is estimated to cost $10,000, deputies reported.
