Wednesday Oct. 17

6:20 a.m., 2300 block of U.S. Highway 50, South Lake Tahoe – illegal camping. An early morning sweep through the woods behind Motel 6 meant a ticket for Michael Huffman, a 61-year-old transient. Mounted patrol discovered Huffman camping in the woods behind the motel, a popular spot for illegal camping.



Secret Witness offers cash rewards for anonymous tips leading to the arrest and conviction of crime suspects. Anyone with information about crimes reported in California is asked to call (530) 541-6800. In Nevada, call (775) 586-7295.
