The following incidents were selected from among those reported to area law enforcement and fire protection districts.

Sunday Sept. 2

2:59 p.m., 1070 Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe – trespass. Police arrested Jamie Curtin, 18, of South Lake Tahoe, because she refused to leave the area of Tahoe Records & Unique Boutique. The owner told police Curtin has also been disruptive at the store Tuesday swearing and pushing someone.



Monday Sept. 3

12:30 a.m., 100 block of Tramway Drive, Kingsbury Grade – report of gunshot. Douglas County sheriff deputies on patrol raced off to Tramway Drive after someone reported hearing a gunshot. The deputies could not substantiate the report.




7:13 a.m., 1000 Herbert Avenue, South Lake Tahoe – domestic violence. Daniel Newton, 28, of South Lake Tahoe, on suspicion of hitting a 20-year-old woman. Police said the woman suffered a cut on her lip.
