The following incidents were selected from among those reported to area law enforcement and fire protection districts.

Thursday July 26

7:45 a.m., 300 block of Maryanne Drive, Stateline – possession of marijuana for sale. A domestic violence call brought Douglas County sheriff’s deputies to the home of 40-year-old Steven Daugherty. Deputies smelled marijuana and found stems and buds in a bathroom and bedroom. Daugherty was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale. He told a deputy he was selling marijuana for medical purposes.

Saturday July 28

11:40 p.m., Caesars Tahoe, Stateline – grand theft. More than $400 in cash was stolen from the purse of Alma Gonzalez, 35, of Redwood City, after she left it unattended between slot machines.
