The following incidents were selected from among those reported to area law enforcement and fire protection districts.

Tuesday June 12

9 a.m., 1700 block of U.S. Highway 50, South Lake Tahoe – grand theft. Twenty metal folding chairs worth $1,000 were stolen from a South Tahoe High School gym. The chairs all had Viking basketball insignias on them and were last seen May 31. An employee noticed them missing June 8, police said.
