The following incidents were selected from among those reported to area law enforcement and fire protection districts.

2:24 p.m., Fairway Avenue and U.S. Highway 50, South Lake Tahoe – injury accident. A Toyota 4Runner rammed an unmarked Ford Explorer owned by law enforcement that had stopped to let a pedestrian through a crosswalk. The light was green when the Explorer stopped for the person. The driver of the Explorer planned to turn onto Fairway Avenue, police said. The accident injured a South Lake Tahoe Police officer in the passenger seat of the unmarked Explorer. She reportedly suffered pain in her neck, back and left shoulder. Police cited the driver of the 4Runner, a 17-year-old boy, for driving too fast for the conditions. An officer also reported that the 17-year-old was playing loud music in his car at the time of the wreck.
