Bluebird morning at Heavenly (video)

For two hours Wednesday morning, skiers and snowboarders were treated to bluebird skies at Heavenly Mountain Resort after a storm Tuesday night dumped a foot of fresh snow. The skies clouded up before noon and the snow again began falling. Snow is in the forecast through Friday, according to the National Weather Service, which should provide an additional few feet to the snowpack. The storms move out and clear skies take over for the weekend.
