SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – In Douglas County bomb squad personnel were called to MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa Thursday afternoon after a suspicious metal container was found at the casino about 1 p.m.

The package turned out to be welding equipment that was accidentally delivered to the casino, said Douglas County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Jim Halsey, in an email.

The area around the package was evacuated until about 3:30 p.m., when the package was secured, Halsey said.
