Bonita Paulis donates artwork to Art League benefit

Provided to the TribuneArtist Bonita Paulis donated a giclee of her original pastel, "Awakening Lake," to benefit the Tahoe Art League.

Bonita Paulis, a noted pastel artist of the Sierra, the California Coast and the desert Southwest, has donated a giclee of her original pastel, “Awakening Lake,” to benefit the work of the Tahoe Art League.

The drawing for the art will be held at the Autumn Art Expo from 12-9 p.m. Oct. 1-2 at the Horizon Casino Resort.

Paulis’ art has been featured in several collections and she has been featured in numerous art magazines and texts. She is also a member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast, a signature member of the Sierra Pastel Society and the Tahoe Art League. Her website is
