Book sale Saturday at library

A book sale to support the Friends of the Library Free Children’s Library has been scheduled Saturday. The fundraiser will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the South Lake Tahoe Branch Library, 1000 Rufus Allen Blvd.

Many hardback and paperback books will be available at deep discounts. DVDs, VHS and books on tape will also be available. The fall book sale is a great way to stock up on your winter reading materials, while helping support the local library.

The Friends of the Library will need volunteers to set up and take down the booksale. Set-up will be from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 2. Clean-up will be at the end of the book sale, starting at 3 p.m. Nov. 3. For more information, call (530) 573-3185 or come to the library to sign up.

The South Lake Tahoe Branch Library is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For more information on library services, call (530) 573-3185.
