Budget tops supervisors agenda
May 20, 2003
El Dorado County leaders will discuss budget matters today after learning of the proposed revisions to the California budget.
Under the revision, about half the money collected from increased vehicle licensing fees, which would amount to about $3.6 million, would go to the county’s road department. That would leave the county’s general fund about $3.6 million short.
The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. at the Board of Supervisors meeting room, 330 Fair Lane, Building A, in Placerville.
There are four Tahoe-related consent agenda items that will be heard today.
— Hear a request by the public health director to execute agreements, amendments and memoranda of understanding relevant to the county’s alcohol and drug treatment programs.
