Budget workshop on board agenda
The Lake Tahoe Unified School District Board of Education is meeting at 3 p.m. today in the district office board room at 1021 Al Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.
After a brief public hearing session, there will be a a 2001-02 budget workshop. The workshop is scheduled to last until 6 p.m., at which time a spokesperson for the South Tahoe Educators Association will address the board, announcing the issues the union plans to open with for next year’s negotiations.
Shortly after 6 p.m. the board will adjourn to closed session to discuss a psychologist position and negotiations.
Regular session is slated to reconvene at 7 p.m. The board will take action on items from closed session and adjourn the meeting around 7:05 p.m.
The public is welcome to attend the open session portion of the meeting, which includes the budget workshop.
