Builders, architects, engineers and other professionals are invited to a free workshop on residential code changes Tuesday in South Lake Tahoe.
Find out how projects will be impacted when changes to the California Title 24 Residential Energy Efficiency Code take effect next year. Changes include a new mechanical ventilation requirement, building envelope upgrades and changes to compliance forms.
The workshop will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Quality Inn & Suites, 3838 Lake Tahoe Blvd. It is a collaboration between Sierra Pacific Resources and the city of South Lake Tahoe and will be conducted by Barbara Collins, a senior building science specialist with Oceanside-based Energy Rated Homes.
The session is free, but registration is required. To register or for more information, visit http://www.eshnn.com or call (888) 818-3746.
