Bureau of Land Management officer to speak at SIERA meeting

The Sierra Intermountain Emergency Radio Association will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville. Speaker will be Mark Struble, Bureau of Land Management public information officer.
Since 1999 to the present Struble has been the BLM public affairs officer for the Carson City field office, coordinator for the Sierra Front-Northwest Great Basin Resource advisory council and primary BLM office liaison with Nevada Congressional delegation and is responsible for all news releases and interviews. Sensitive issues concerning the use, sale and management of our public lands will be addressed. This is an opportunity to ask the person who knows. Visitors are welcome.
SIERA will meet for a social breakfast at 8 a.m. Nov. 26 at Grandma Hattie’s restaurant, 2811 South Carson Street, Carson City. Visitors are welcome.
