Business Expo to be held at Harrah’s Convention Center

The 2012 Business Expo will be held Friday at Harrah’s Convention Center.

More than 90 TahoeChamber member businesses will showcase products and services. This year’s theme, “Get Connected,” will recognize advancements in technology by highlighting businesses that use social media to their advantage.

The expo, which is put on by TahoeChamber and Getaway Reno-Tahoe, is an opportunity to learn about the local business community and its resources.

The event will also feature a silent auction. Items up for bid will include glider rides with Soaring NV, air taxi service from GaryAir, snowmobile ride, gift baskets, gym memberships, couples massage, dining certificates, pet-sitting, baby-sitting, and artwork by local artists.

Food and beverage tasting will also be available from vendors including Lakeside Beach Grill, Beach Hut Deli, Passaretti’s, Lake Tahoe Chocolate Factory, Jamba Juice, The Beacon, Riva Grill and Latin Soul.
